Add Your Students

Introduction
Part of what makes LiveSchool a powerful platform for motivating students and building school culture is that you can monitor how students are doing in every class, with every teacher. To make these features work, it's very important that you maintain one and only one record of each student in your LiveSchool site.
Master Student List
  • Only admin users can edit
  • Each student is listed once
  • Shared by all teachers at your site
Class Rosters
  • Each teacher can create class rosters
  • Class rosters draw from students in your site’s master student list
  • Students can appear in unlimited rosters
If you are a teacher looking to add a student to a class roster, see this article. If you are the first user at your school’s site, or if you have administrative privileges, read on!
Students can be added to LiveSchool directly in the app. To add a new student:
  1. From the app, click on the top left then click Setup
  2. Select Students from the bottom of the screen
  3. Click the Add Student button and enter details for the student
